Canadian author, Romie Christie, will be traveling back to Le Touquet in France for a special 80th anniversary celebration of the town's liberation at the end of the Second World War - during which time her parents had their fateful meeting before moving to Saskatchewan. The celebrations will include a re-enactment of her parents first encounter, told by Christie in See You in Le Touquet: A Memoir of War and Destiny. Christie joins Evan to recall her family's history and the events coming up this September.
