BLSA CEO discusses how the Government of National Unity is a key factor behind the IMF's positive forecast.

BLSA CEO Ms. Busisiwe Mavuso has commented on the IMF's World Economic Outlook report, which has slightly upgraded South Africa's growth prospects for 2024 to 1.1%, an increase from the previous forecast of 0.9% made in July and April.

Additionally, the report has raised the GDP growth forecast for South Africa in 2025 from 1.2% to 1.5%.
