No money for election re-run, says Namibia's electoral commission, with Swapo ahead

There can't be a re-run of Namibia's general election because there is no money to do so, the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) said, even as opposition parties prepared a legal challenge demanding just that. The Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) informed the ECN it would challenge the way the election was conducted, and the Popular Democratic Movement and Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters said they would support that challenge.
