This after a public outcry about Ramaphosa's governance and decision-making, particularly his recent commitment to strengthen trade ties with Nigeria. Subsequently, government issued a warning to say they will not tolerate acts of violence and intimidation that undermine the country's stability. ATM leader Vuyo Zungula shared his thoughts, saying, "it seems everyone has a right to protest and register their displeasure in the country except black South Africans." The team deliberated on what this national shutdown, and asked, "do you see the government response to calls for a national shutdown as a threat or a right action and adequate warning that responsible people should take?"
