Kagame accuses Ramaphosa of lying

Rwanda has doubled down on its accusations that President Cyril Ramaphosa outright lied about the recent combat in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. A diplomatic spat over the fighting in the DRC developed overnight after Rwandan President Paul Kagame took to social media to lash out at Pretoria following a statement by Ramaphosa. Ramaphosa addressed the deaths of South African Defence Force (SANDF) soldiers who are part of a peacekeeping mission with the SADC Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (SAMIDRC).
