Grassland ecosystems are receding at a concerning rate, with some recent estimates suggesting that only 11 to 14 per cent of native prairie remains in Saskatchewan. In the hopes of working towards maintaining and restoring this grassland, Carolyn Gaudet, manager of the SK Prairie Conservation Action Plan and the chair of the North Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Workshop (NPRRW) planning committee, joins Murray Wood to talk about some exciting upcoming gatherings.
