Rashid Kay is a prominent South African media professional, content producer, and hip-hop advocate. He has worked across radio, television, print, and music, notably as a Metro FM presenter and producer since 2014. He co-hosts with Oskido and Lufuno, shaping music and culture discussions. Rashid has produced shows like SABC 1’s *TMF - One Mic* and eTV’s *Shiz Live*, which focus on elevating South African hip-hop. He co-founded the Back to the City Festival, Africa’s largest hip-hop festival, and has been a key figure in the South African Hip Hop Awards since 2012.

In addition to his media work, Rashid is a respected MC and rapper with two albums, *Once Upon A Rhyme* (2016) and *The K-Word* (2018), addressing social change and the evolution of hip-hop. He also co-hosts *The Master Class Podcast*, offering insights into the hip-hop industry. Rashid is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and the National School of the Arts, cementing his influence in South African hip-hop through his diverse contributions to the culture.
