Walter Sisulu University students at the Unitra campus in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape demand justice after two students were shot and a third person lost their life this morning. Walter Sisulu University Spokesperson Yonela Tukwayo said one of the reasons students are protesting was a rule to allow students’ partners to sleep over. SASCO President Alungile Kamtshe disputed this, saying the university is just trying to protect their image and no addressing the real reasons the students are on the streets.
