South Africa’s only driver’s license card printing machine is operational again. The Department of Transport confirmed last week that the card printer was back up and running after a three-month outage that hit in February. However, the outage has caused a backlog of driver's license cards in waiting with almost 747 746 applications. There are even more drivers who have licenses expiring beyond that number, and frustration continues to grow daily.
