NPA to appeal Omotoso's not guilty verdict.

The National Prosecuting Authority will appeal the not guilty verdict in Nigerian Pastor, Timothy Omotoso's trafficking and sexual assault case. Omotoso and his two co-accused were acquitted on a technicality last month. Sizwe Dhlomo invited Legal Expert, Mpumelelo Zikalala, to share insights into double jeopardy, in the context of South African law. Moreover, they discussed various strategies in prosecution, as well as the reasons that may have led to the release of Omotoso for his additional case of contravening the immigration act.
