Nofezile began by defining mental health and stressing the need to raise awareness in order to break the stigma and promote a culture of support. She pointed out common signs that someone may be struggling, including social withdrawal, noticeable changes in behavior, and mood swings.
She also shared practical ways to support those facing mental health challenges, highlighting the importance of listening without judgment, showing empathy, and encouraging individuals to seek professional help.
