With writing credits on Netflix’s Queen Sono and 12 seasons of the Emmy-nominated Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola, Karabo seamlessly bridges genres from spy thrillers to comedy and drama. SABBATICAL marks her first feature film, where she brings a matured voice to themes of silence, family, and identity. A Berlinale Talents and TIFF Writers’ Studio alumna, Karabo is at the forefront of nuanced African storytelling.
