On Saturday, I had the pleasure of interviewing Thulasizwe Mngomezulu, widely known as UMngomezulu, a renowned South African Deep House producer and DJ.
He holds a Music Production Certificate from the Soul Candi Institute of Music and later earned a Broadcasting Diploma from the Academy of Sound Engineering in Johannesburg. His journey in the music industry includes working at the legendary Vinyl Joint Record Store.
UMngomezulu is also the founder of Something Emotional Recordings, a label that reflects his unique sound and emotional depth in house music.
