Hot Cares visits Door of Hope – a sanctuary for abandoned babies in Johannesburg

For 25 years, Door of Hope has rescued vulnerable newborns through their innovative Baby Saver box – a secure, anonymous drop-off hatch for desperate mothers with nowhere else to turn. Over 500 lives have been saved… but now, that lifeline is under legal threat.

Hot Cares steps in to support this vital mission, providing nutritional and hygiene supplies, educational toys, a special needs saucer swing, and a paediatric weighing scale for the Baby Saver site.

In a world where too many doors are closed, this one stays open.
