Ivor began his career in tourism in 1998 as a barman at Augusta Wine Estate in Franschhoek. Influenced by notable figures like Robert von Palace Kolbatschenko and the late Count Riccardo Agusta, his journey took him across South Africa—from vineyards to casinos, game reserves, and top hospitality venues in Johannesburg. He later returned to Franschhoek to launch Tour Mama Africa International Travel Company and Franschhoek Inn Enterprises. Ivor’s experience includes working on major events like the Absa Cape Epic, Cape Town Jazz Festival, and Top Gear Festival. After being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2015, he pivoted to digital innovations, including game and tour guide app development.
