Tutu Puoane, a jazz vocalist born in Pretoria and now based in Antwerp [Belgium], will join us on The World Show this Sunday.
Tutu was inspired by Lebo Mashile's poetry and wrote a collection of songs based on some of her favourites, which serve as the foundation for her double-album project, 'Wrapped In Rhythm'.
The first volume was published in 2024 and received numerous awards. She is now preparing to release the second installment, "Wrapped In Rhythm - The Orchestral Volume 2," which will feature a collaboration with the world-renowned, Grammy-winning "Dutch Metropole Orkest."
