Melvyn is currently a Partner at Breega, a venture capital firm managing more than $700 million. Among other accolades, Melvyn is a Rhodes Scholar, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and an Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow. He holds degrees in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and in Education (Learning and Technology) and Public Policy from Oxford.
