Sister Kate Bristow is a qualified nursing sister and certified diabetes educator. She runs a private diabetes education practice from rooms in Pietermaritzburg, providing initial and ongoing support for people diagnosed with diabetes. She is passionate about helping those with diabetes and their families achieve the best they can from their diabetes, and giving them the confidence to manage it with support from their diabetes team. Consultations are individual and Kate is affiliated to most medical aids enabling her to provide on-going assistance and education. She is also a certified insulin pump therapist and is conversant with all CGMs.
