Easter road death toll

Despite more efforts from government to curb road accidents this Easter, it seems the deathtoll has increased. The provisional road death toll stands at 287, which is 45% more than last year over the same period. Transport Minister Dipuo Peters has pointed to human conduct as the driving factor increasing accidents.

But perhaps authorities need to assess their approach to their safety campaigns?
