On The Social Impact Show with Samm Marshall, we spotlight Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)—South Africa’s most urgent yet preventable public health crisis. With some of the highest rates in the world, FASD affects as many as 1 in 3 children in certain communities.

Joining the conversation is Kashifa Ancer, Campaign Manager for Rethink Your Drink, an alcohol harm reduction initiative by the DG Murray Trust, in partnership with Hold My Hand. Together, they are raising awareness this FASD Awareness Day (9 September) and throughout the month.
