KZN anglers, gear up—this week the coast is buzzing! From Durban to the South Coast, fish are on fire with a massive variety of species biting. Brusher, bream, grey sharks, kob, blacktail, and Garrick are all active, with plenty of smaller catches for fun and some trophy-sized beauties showing up too. Rock and surf fishing is especially hot, with prawn, chokka, and ghost crab producing great action on the lower tides. Offshore bait is starting to spread, bringing back kingfish, tuna, and greys, while rivers and still waters are warming, giving bass and yellowfish a boost.
