Praise Mwelase is a versatile producer, stage manager, and
show caller whose expertise has shaped some of South
Africa’s most iconic productions. Her passion for live event
production was ignited in 2022 when she stage managed
Legendary in His Presence at Sun City, setting the
foundation for a career marked by excellence and faith.
Since then, she has managed and show-called high-profile
projects such as Cassper Nyovest’s Fill Up Mmabatho
Stadium, Hey Neighbour Festival, and Unlimited Fest with
Mpoomy Ledwaba. Most notably, she project managed the
African Throne Tour with Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C—an
international production later captured in a documentary
premiering on Amazon Prime Video. Her ability to deliver
seamless, large-scale events has established her as a
trusted creative force behind the continent’s biggest stages.
Beyond live events, Praise made a remarkable contribution
as a producer at Wisdom & Wellness with Mpoomy
Ledwaba, where she worked on transformative projects
including live events, one of South Africa’s top podcasts,
and the bestselling Wisdom & Wellness book. Her
experience in both creative production and technical
management reflects her rare ability to merge vision, detail,
and storytelling across mediums. As the founder of Until All
Are Found, a Christian community dedicated to guiding
young people to Christ through prayer, fasting, and
fellowship, she continues to create spaces of impact both on
stage and in ministry. With an AFDA background in Motion
Picture Medium, Praise uses media, events, and faith-driven
leadership to inspire, uplift, and redefine what excellence
looks like in African creative industries.
