The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng will conduct an oversight inspection at the Randburg Licensing Department as part of its Infrastructure Campaign.
The inspection follows reports about the state of collapse and total lack of maintenance at the facility despite Premier Panyaza Lesufi promising a wide range of clean-ups, repairs and developments in the City of Johannesburg during his 2025 State of the Province Address and in his apology to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The inspection will be led by the DA Gauteng Shadow MEC for Roads and Logistics, Evert Du Plessis MPL and the DA Spokesperson for Roads and Logistics, Nicole Van Dyk MPL.
