The Engrave Slave is a proudly female-run company based in Cape Town, South Africa, born out of a deep love for anime, fandoms, and creativity. From our cozy little shop in Kenilworth to our growing online store, we’ve built a space where fans can celebrate their passions and feel part of a vibrant community.
What makes us unique is our commitment to local creation. Over 70% of our products are proudly made in South Africa, crafted with care in collaboration with talented local artists and creators. We believe in supporting homegrown talent while delivering high-quality, affordable merch that fans can treasure.
Our journey began with fan art and community-driven designs, but we are now working hard to evolve into a fully licensed merchandise company. This step will allow us to ethically and officially bring beloved characters and stories to life in ways that honour the fandoms we love so much.

At TES, every hoodie, charm, pillow, and collectible tells a story, your story. Whether you visit us in person at our Kenilworth shop or shop with us online, you’ll find more than just merch; you’ll find a community of fans who dream, create, and celebrate together.
