The party has officially gazetted its Public Procurement Amendment Bill for public comment - a bold piece of legislation that would eliminate race-based criteria in state tenders. If passed, the Bill would toss out the B-BBEE scorecard and shift towards a “needs-based,” outcome-focused empowerment model.
