Woman's Conference Arise - Make Room 2025 - Session 1 with Melinda

Melinda opened the conference with a powerful reminder about God's presence being our home—the place where we belong, receive wholeness, and are loved for who we are. Her challenge: make room for God in your busy life, even in small moments.
Learning to Trust
Following the testimonies, Melinda addressed broken trust. From childhood we learn to trust, but life betrays us. Many women have made inner vows: "I will never open my heart again." But to make room for Jesus, we must trust.
The Truth: Psalm 139
Melinda read Psalm 139, declaring it ultimate truth about the Father's heart. God understands every thought before it enters your mind, He's gone into your future to prepare the way, and His thoughts toward you are more than grains of sand on every shore.
The Enemy's Strategy
The enemy's goal since Eden is to separate us from the Father's love through abuse, rejection, pain, and betrayal—all designed to make us believe God doesn't love us.
Melinda's Story
Melinda vulnerably shared how her father's affair when she was 11 left her struggling with rejection for years. Despite knowing the Lord, she battled performance orientation, rebellion, and offense. Everything changed when she completely surrendered, spoke forgiveness, and released her past. God healed her wounded heart. "My past now has no longer any effect on me."
Make Room: Matthew 9
Jesus arrived at the ruler's house where mourners declared the girl dead—no hope, no future. But Jesus silenced them and said, "Make room." God is silencing your enemies and declaring, "Make room, for I am here."
The Divine Exchange
Drawing from Psalm 23, Melinda taught that God lays a table before us in the presence of our enemies with answers: peace replaces fear, freedom from abuse, healing from addiction, joy instead of depression, and the Father's love conquers rejection.
Isaiah 54: Enlarge Your Tent
This is a new season where God calls us to finish with the old and step into new life. "Enlarge your tent and add extensions. Hold nothing back." Increase is coming. Just as a woman becomes a lioness after giving birth, God is bringing that shift right now.
The Altar Call
Melinda invited every woman who made inner vows or is struggling to come forward. Her declaration: "It is a new day. The shift is happening right now."
Key Takeaways: God's presence transforms us. We must renew our minds with truth. The enemy wants to separate us from the Father's love. God removes the harm of our past. This is a season of divine exchange. We are qualified by Jesus' love, not disqualified by our past.
