Alette Winckler, pastor, author, CEO, and mother of four, shared her transformative journey from image consultant to inner healer. While she once cleared out women's closets, God was preparing her to clear out hearts.
The Year of War
While others declared 2024 "the year to soar," God told Alette it would be her "year of war." She made headlines twice for standing on God's Word. Through Ezekiel 3:16, God called her a watchman: "When I say it, say it—no matter who you offend. If you don't and people suffer, the blood is on your hands." The next week brought slander and attacks. God instructed: "Stay silent. I am your vindicator."
Come Holy Spirit
At the Alpha Conference in London, Alette witnessed Nicky and Pippa Gumbel stand before 5,000 people in silence and simply say, "Come Holy Spirit." She brought this practice home, inviting the Holy Spirit into every area daily. Miracles followed—she began knowing things about people supernaturally, and breakthrough came in counseling sessions.
The 40-Day Exodus Experience
Seeking breakthrough in her weight struggle, Alette learned that trauma is stored in the body. You can't break through certain weights until you forgive people involved in trauma at that weight. Lying in a bathtub, God brought up memories requiring forgiveness—her missionary grandfather who built the kingdom at the cost of his children, stealing her mother's childhood.
The result? Nearly 15 kilos lost, but more importantly—supernatural deliverance. Now 6,000 people have gone through the 40-Day Exodus Experience, experiencing freedom from weight, trauma, and toxins while hearing God's voice clearer.
Make Room for the Groom
Alette's central message: The church is Christ's bride, and the Groom is coming for a dwelling place. Have we made room? Or are our hearts too cluttered?
We must declutter our thoughts (fear, worry, overthinking), our hearts (bitterness, offense, comparison), and our bodies (we are temples of the Holy Spirit).
Like Esther's 12 months of preparation, we must prepare for the Groom. Preparation precedes presence. The oil in the ten virgins' lamps represents intimacy with the Holy Spirit—you can't borrow someone else's anointing or live off YouTube videos. Cultivate your own relationship.
The Same Lies
Through inner healing work, Alette discovered we all believe the same lies: "I'm not good enough. I'm not worthy." These arrows from the enemy filter into every area—marriage, parenthood, work. We must be grounded in God's Word to deflect them.
The Gentle Knock
Revelation 3:20: Jesus stands at the door and knocks. He doesn't force His way in like an abuser—He's a gentleman waiting for invitation. You choose to open and say, "Come in. Take everything not from You."
When you make room for the Groom, He doesn't just visit—He abides and fills every space you empty for Him.
The Proof
June 21, 2024: Alette lay in an Uber in excruciating pain, thinking about death. June 21, 2025: She stood before a crowd whole, healed, and delivered. That's what happens when you make room.
The session closed with a powerful invitation to say "Come Holy Spirit" and receive a picture of how God sees you: beautiful, loved, worthy. Replace the lies with His truth.
