Sanza (Yeoville Dinner Club) on The Jazz Standard With Brenda Sisane

Loading player...
Sanza is a self-taught South African chef, storyteller and cultural connector best known as the founder and host of the Yeoville Dinner Club in Johannesburg.

Born in Soweto with roots in Swaziland, Sanza draws on the heritage of his grandmother’s cooking and on the rich migrant food cultures of the inner-city suburb of Yeoville. His Dinner Club, located on Rockey Street, is a communal dining experience that celebrates Pan-African cuisine, migration stories and shared tables of 14-18 guests. Once a radio presenter and DJ, he uses his hosting skills to bridge food, music and conversation, turning each dinner into a cultural event as much as a meal.
