South Africa is turning its G20 presidency into a long-term project. A new Legacy Knowledge Hub, launched in December by SustainaBridge and DIRCO will preserve research, policy ideas and partnerships from the first G20 held on African soil. UNISA Vice-Chancellor Prof Puleng LenkaBula says it’s “a bridge between leadership and action.” The hub will debut an open-access knowledge system and a 2026 programme that includes a Global Solidarity Expo and Knowledge Summit Series. Sello Hatang speaks to Phemelo about how the initiative aims to keep Africa’s development priorities on the global stage.
