Palestinian politician Awad Abdel Fattah and his activist wife Husein Fathiya are in Cape Town today for talks on the current Israeli political landscape. Abdel Fattah is the secretary general of the National Democratic Alliance, a political party with three seats in Israel’s parliament, the Knesset. He is a member of the Higher Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens Affairs, the unified leadership of the Palestinians in Israel.
