But a group in Ottawa are advocating for the communities that could be impacted by these projects, which have been linked to increased violence and risk of human trafficking for Indigenous women and girls. Hilda Anderson-Pyrz, President of the National Family and Survivors Circle, joins Brent to discuss the recent forum she hosted in Ottawa and how governments and industry leaders can protect vulnerable communities.
