In the last episode the Mayoral Committee Member for Water and Sanitation, Zahied Badroodien, gave an update on our dam levels, and reminded us about the water saving tips that became such a mainstay during the drought of 2017. But I wanted to know about the regulations around bore holes, and how safe the natural springs are in the city. As an added extra, Councillor Badroodien gave an overview of the city's water resilience strategy called the New Water Programme.
