The Saskatchewan government is responding to the federal gun buyback program with a new option for some firearm owners in the province. It's providing an exemption for certain owners to continue to possess those firearms on behalf of the province until they receive fair compensation. Minister Tim McLeod, Saskatchewan Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety and Minister Responsible for the Firearms Secretariat, joins us to talk more about what this means for Saskatchewan gun owners.
