Drive Moment - Office Politics: To Code-Switch Or Not To Code-Switch?

Loading player...
In professional environments, many individuals—particularly Black professionals—often adjust how they speak, behave, and express themselves to be perceived as credible and competent. Is it fair to expect individuals to constantly modify their identity in order to belong? Or is this simply the reality of navigating corporate spaces? Alternatively, could this be an over analysis of standard workplace culture and expectations?
