Carol Ofori is talking about kids who are exposed to too much screen time. This means that kids are either on their cellphones, tablets, watching tv and playing video games for hours.
Parents have often said that this is sort of a copying mechanism for them because it keeps the children busy and occupied.
However a local study found by IOL News revealed that most SA parents exceed recommended screen limits for kids. Many don’t realize the negative developmental impact this has on their kids.
