Today, we are talking about something that involves all of us, every parent, caregiver, aunt,
uncle, friend, and community member, and the role we all play in the health and wellbeing of
our children.
Here is something many people don’t always realise: a child’s health does not begin the day
they are born, when the doctor starts running tests, or when they catch their first flu or face a
medical emergency. It actually begins much earlier, while the baby is still growing in the
mother’s womb.
