South African singer-songwriter Langa Mavuso continues to
redefine modern R&B with music rooted in vulnerability,
healing, and emotional honesty. Born Nkosinathi
Nhlakanipho Mavuso in Johannesburg, the award-winning
artist first captured audiences with his breakout single
“Sunday Blues” before cementing his place in the industry
through projects like Liminal Sketches and his critically
acclaimed debut album LANGA. Now, with his deeply
personal sophomore album Therapy: The Other Side,
Mavuso opens up about grief, love, faith, and self-discovery
following the passing of his longtime partner, celebrity chef
Lentswe Bhengu-Mafoko. Through soulful storytelling,
powerful vocals, and raw authenticity, Langa continues to
connect with listeners across the globe while positioning
himself as one of South Africa’s most influential voices in
contemporary soul music.
