DA warns Joburg water crisis is fuelling corruption

The DA says Johannesburg’s ongoing water outages and reliance on emergency tanker services are creating opportunities for politically connected contractors to benefit while residents suffer. The party blames years of infrastructure neglect and financial mismanagement, warning that even tanker services are now collapsing because contractors have reportedly not been paid.
