
WHO raises concern over Ebola and hantavirus outbreaks

The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola outbreak in the DRC and Uganda a public health emergency after more than 300 suspected cases and 88 deaths were reported. Officials say the rare Bundibugyo strain has no approved vaccine or treatment. Meanwhile, health authorities are also monitoring a hantavirus outbreak linked to a cruise ship that docked in Rotterdam after several passengers fell ill.
