For next ten minutes, I’m going to be chatting to Emma Daitz who is one of a group of South African Jews currently in Israel today to give back their Jewish National Fund certificates. So basically, these certificates symbolize that trees have been planted in their honour in the South Africa Forest in Galilee, the northern part of Israel. This forest is an eco-project run by the Jewish National Fund (JNF) and the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs. But what many people don’t know is that beneath the forest lies the rubble of a Palestinian village called Lubya. Joining us now is Emma Daitz….
