Justice not Justification

Monique Mathy-Graaf emphasises the importance of bringing the impact of an investment into equal consideration with risk and return - and, in doing so, balancing growing wealth today with better outcomes tomorrow. This requires stewarding capital through a lens of long-term justice and not simply responding to the latest justifications made by the loudest voices on public platforms. It also requires that financial institutions be given clearer guidelines to formally measure non-financial impacts… something that will require collaboration across all industry stakeholders.
