Migration, Justice and Responsibility: Can South Africa Find Common ground?

South Africa’s immigration debate has become increasingly polarised, with many feeling forced to choose between supporting stronger border enforcement or rejecting xenophobia. But is there a middle ground? Can we demand effective immigration laws, insist that government fixes a broken Home Affairs system, and reject violence and discrimination at the same time? Joining us this morning is South African activist Rahab, who argues that these issues should be approached through the lens of justice, accountability and equal treatment for everyone.
