British-Zimbabwean national Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma was
arrested by the South African Police Service in Kensington,
Johannesburg, on 10 July 2026 following a coordinated operation
involving the SAPS Interpol National Central Bureau, Crime
Intelligence and the Organised Crime Investigation Unit.
Tshuma is wanted by authorities in the United Kingdom in connection
with the alleged murders of his wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma (42),
and their two daughters, Natalie (15) and Nala (5). The bodies of the
three victims were discovered at their family home near Bedford,
England. UK authorities have since confirmed that the cause of death
was blunt force trauma.
According to British investigators, Tshuma allegedly fled the United
Kingdom shortly after the killings, departing through Heathrow Airport
using his British passport. An international search was subsequently
launched, leading to cooperation between UK law enforcement
agencies, Interpol and South African authorities.
