Scam artist target pensioners

The South African National Zakah Fund is asking the public to be on the lookout for a scam artist who is claiming to be a representative from the organisation and asking pensioners to provide their SASSA card numbers and their ID numbers. This woman, who is operating under the alias of Shamielah Booysen is operating in the Bridgetown, Silvertown, Parktown and Bonteheuwel areas. Many of these pensioners have noticed deductions. We chat now to the regional co-ordinator of SASSA, Ebrahim Ryland about this.....
