The effects of mass producing cheap clothing, or Fast Fashion as it's known, is extensive on the environment. We see it in landfills, and pollution in rivers and waterways near these big factories. But we do need to wear clothes and they do wear over time. So what can we do to help the environment when it comes to clothing? Safiyya Karim from Fashion Revolution gave Otto van der Walt some handy tips.
