Bosch has made a meaningful contribution to South Africa’s education and skills development landscape by investing in programmes that equip young people with practical, industry-relevant experience. Over the past decade, the company has supported approximately 1,000 individuals through initiatives such as the YES for Youth programme, Work Integrated Learning (P1 & P2), apprenticeship programmes for millwrights, mechatronics, diesel injection and auto electricians, as well as its Graduate Development Programme. By creating pathways from education into employment, Bosch is helping to address the country’s critical skills shortage, strengthen technical education and prepare the next generation of engineers, technicians and industry professionals to contribute to South Africa’s economic growth.
