In our Business Lead story, Angie Scholtz is joined by Lameka Amuanyena, the Senior Manager for Electricity and Hydrocarbons at the Electricity Control Board, to discuss their 2024/2025 infrastructure report, based on inspections across all 14 regions. The ECB says NamPower’s national transmission network is well maintained, while Regional Electricity Distributors generally performed better than council-run networks. The weakest council networks were recorded in //Kharas, followed by Hardap and Omaheke.
