ANC vs IEC: Party takes candidate list dispute to Electoral Court

The ANC is taking its dispute with the IEC over missing candidate names to the Electoral Court, blaming technical problems for entries that were not captured before the deadline. The party says it successfully registered 9,128 candidates but 130 proportional representation and 51 ward candidates were affected in the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Mangaung.
