Zuma plane drama

Aviation drama began this weekend when Zuma attended the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation. Zuma's official jet, Inkwasi, apparently had a technical problem which meant it would need to make an additional refuelling stop before heading home. Instead, a seperate aircraft was hired and this meant that the President would have needed to rush to board it. Despite not making use of the aircraft, the airforce is still liable for the costs – a whopping R2 m.
