Seeing Beyond with Shona - 1 October 2026

Reverend Shona explores how God’s generosity and provision remain constant, even when we grumble, struggle or feel life is unfair. Through Exodus, Philippians and the parable of the vineyard workers, she reflects on trusting God through hardship, serving without expecting greater reward, and choosing gratitude over complaint.

The final stretch of the year can be relentless — but a little preparation now can help you reach December still thriving. Reverend Shona shares how to build your own “toolkit” of rest, reserves and support before the year-end rush begins.

Reverend Shona explores one of the hardest calls of faith: forgiving others, even when the hurt runs deep. Drawing on Scripture, she reflects on God’s grace and why recognising how much we have been forgiven can help us extend that same grace to others.

Reverend Shona explores how self-awareness, self-control and empathy can help us strengthen our emotional intelligence. From managing emotions under pressure to truly listening to others, she shares practical ways to build better relationships at work and in life.

Reverend Shona reflects on gratitude — recognising the blessings in our lives and the importance of giving thanks, even through difficult seasons. She also explores Paul’s teachings on generosity, and why giving our time, talents and resources should come from the heart and with joy.
